Cotton Annex — marketed as The Annex on 12th — is a historic adaptive-reuse development on the site of the 1936 U.S. Department of Agriculture Cotton Annex in Southwest Washington, DC. Developer Carmel Partners preserved and restored the Art Deco structure and added an adjoining 13-story tower — together yielding 562 luxury residences with interiors by Champalimaud and outlooks toward the National Mall.
JRB LLC contributed finish carpentry, doors, frames, and hardware, and Division 10 specialty installations across the restored historic building and new construction — bringing precision, coordination, and a consistent quality of workmanship to a project where old and new meet.
